WRITTEN ON SKIN - Deutsche Oper Berlin

On January 27th, 2024, the Deutsche Oper Berlin celebrated the first premiere of 2024: George Benjamin’s WRITTEN ON SKIN in the award-winning and well-traveled premiere production by Katie Mitchell.

Under the musical direction of Marc Albrecht there will be the house debut of the outstanding countertenor Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen, who will perform together with baritone Mark Stone and soprano Georgia Jarman. The latter has already made a name for herself several times with roles in Benjamin’s works. The in-house ensemble also features Irene Roberts and Chance Jonas-O’Toole.
