The gallery is committed to cross-border cultural exchange between France, Germany and the Czech Republic and involves co-operation partners from the Département Moselle, Saarland, Berlin and the Czech Republic. In this way, a structural model of European art exchange is to be created, in which Berlin is to act as a hub for creative work. The founding idea thus combines civic engagement and lively cultural federalism with a European vision.
Since the exhibition began in September 2004, works by artists from the Czech Republic, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and, of course, Saarland and Berlin have been shown. …
