NEWS ++ Wolfgang Tillmans. Weltraum – Albertinum | 08.03.-29.06.2025

Albertinum is currently showing the exhibition Weltraum by Wolfgang Tillmans. Wolfgang Tillmans (b. 1968, Remscheid) is one of today’s most influential living artists. He creates works that enable the viewer to see the world and human coexistence in a unique way. Following retrospectives in the USA and Canada, the Albertinum is now presenting a cross-section of the artist’s multifaceted oeuvre. The exhibition “Wolfgang Tillmans. Weltraum” also includes works which have been created since 2022 and are now being shown for the first time in an institutional setting. “Weltraum” is Tillmans’ first major exhibition in a German museum in more than half a decade. Around 150 works photographic and video works will be on display.
