With “URBAN ENCOUNTERS – URBANE BEGEGNUNGEN”, CSR.ART Contemporary Show Room presents from 21 June 2023 a multimedia group exhibition with photographs by 15 artists* and a video work. The tenth exhibition at CSR.ART is dedicated to urban space as a source of inspiration for artistic expression in different decades and explores the diversity of encounters in urban space. Visitors to the exhibition will witness how Andy Warhol meets former companions, French provocateurs and emerging contemporary photo artists. URBAN ENCOUNTERS opens on 22 June 2023 with a vernissage at 6 pm at CSR.ART, Friedrichstraße 69, Berlin-Mitte.
From the avant-garde movements of the 1960s to contemporary street photography, “URBAN ENCOUNTERS – URBANE BEGEGNUNGEN” offers visitors an insight into the development of the visual representation of urban encounters.
