The renowned institutions of the Kunstmeile Hamburg welcome the Kunsthaus Hamburg as the sixth member of their association from 1 April 2024. The addition of the Kunsthaus will make the programme for visitors to the Kunstmeile, which consists of the Bucerius Kunst Forum, the Deichtorhallen Hamburg, the Hamburger Kunsthalle, the Kunstverein in Hamburg and the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, even more diverse. The Kunsthaus, which is located directly between the Kunstverein in Hamburg and the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, enriches the cultural diversity along the Art Mile, which stretches from Deichtorplatz via the main railway station to the Binnenalster.

The Kunsthaus Hamburg is a center for contemporary art. It acts equally as a participatory exhibition venue, an artistic production site and a platform for cultural-political discussion and reflection.
