Julia Krahn – Landesmuseum Hannover

From 1 to 4 May 2025, Julia Krahn will realise the art project ‘unfassbar’ in the rooms of the Landesmuseum Hannover on the occasion of the 39th German Protestant Church Congress 2025. The project is based on the current exhibition ‘FrauenBilder. Julia Krahn in Dialogue’, which can be seen until 17 August 2025.

The art project takes up central themes of the exhibition FrauenBilder. Julia Krahn in Dialogue at the Landesmuseum Hannover – including physicality, role allocation and sexualised violence – and takes them further in a new, performative form.

Julia Krahn thus consistently pursues her aim of not restricting art to closed spaces. As an artistic contribution to Kirchentag 2025, unfassbar opens up a space for reflection – about what shapes us, what moves us and what is often intangible, yet …
