The programme of the Sandau & Leo Gallery, which opened in September 2017, is characterised by a combination of tradition and renewal. Dr. Doris Leo stands for tradition – that is, for the continuation of formative aspects of the former Leo.Coppi Gallery, founded in 1991 – with her experience in the art trade and in exhibition activities.
Doris Leo and Jörg Sandau accept the challenge of supplementing this programme with new positions of equally high quality. In addition to paintings, works on paper, graphics and sculptures, photographic works will also be shown in the future. The discovery and promotion of young artists who extend the previous figurative programme into the non-figurative field is a continuous concern.
Sandau & Leo Galerie is located on Tucholskystraße in Berlin-Mitte.
