RASCHE RIPKEN represents a number of outstanding artistic positions in painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, video and installation. The gallery sees itself as a place for the presentation and communication of contemporary art. It was founded in its current form in spring 2008 by Karin Ripken and Stefan Rasche in Berlin.
RASCHE RIPKEN emerged from the Stefan Rasche Gallery, which was based in Münster from 1991 to 2007. Since then, numerous artists of the gallery have been part of the program and have been presented several times in solo and group exhibitions as well as in curatorial projects at other venues. Regular participation in art fairs and the publication of artist catalogues complement the gallery’s activities.
The gallery is located in Linienstraße in Mitte.
