At its new location in Auguststraße, ARTES Berlin permanently presents works by renowned as well as young artists. In changing exhibitions, ARTES shows paintings, editions and sculpture from the gallery programme as well as younger positions.

KUNSTHAUS ARTES has been dealing in art since 1978. The motivation is the same today as it was then: living with art should be accessible to everyone, no matter where they live, how much they have or who they know. KUNSTHAUS ARTES has done pioneering work in the art market twice in the past: as the first mail-order gallery ever and later with the first online shop for art.

I am an artist working with oil on canvas as well as mixed media, including handmade paper.

My paintings explore the quiet relationships between light, atmosphere and memory.

Through restrained compositions and subtle tonal transitions, I strive to create contemplative spaces where the viewer can experience a sense of silence, light and a quiet return to oneself.
