CSR.ART (Contemporary Show Room) presents relevant contemporary works by artists, regardless of age, origin or gender, in temporary exhibitions at temporary locations. The aim of the experimental exhibitions is to contribute to intercultural and intellectual exchange.
In April 2022, CSR.ART launched its ÜBERSCHAU exhibition series at Friedrichstraße 69, featuring artworks from various genres. By August 2024, 18 exhibitions had been realised, showcasing around 250 artists from 37 countries.
From April to June 2025, CSR.ART presented around 160 works of art by the painter Bernhard Heisig on the occasion of his 100th birthday as part of the exhibition KRIEG – UND FRIEDEN? 100 Jahre Bernhard Heisig 1925-2025 (WAR – AND PEACE? 100 Years of Bernhard Heisig 1925-2025) at Sacrow Castle near Potsdam.
Since August 2025, CSR.ART has been collaborating with Berlin galleries to present fast-changing exhibitions of relevant contemporary art at BIKINI BERLIN in City West.
The initiator and organiser of CSR.ART is DEEDS.LAB gUG, a non-profit organisation based in Berlin that promotes art and culture. The aim of DEEDS.LAB is to promote artists and make their works of art visible. To this end, DEEDS.LAB develops concepts and collaborates with various partners, including galleries and cultural institutions, artists and curators. More information here: www.csr.art.
