Addendum: Until further notice, the current exhibition Moving Energies in the me Collectors Room can be visited virtually HERE. The me Collectors Room Berlin was permanently closed at the beginning of May 2020. It was founded together with the Olbricht Foundation in 2010. Initiator was the Wella heir, medical doctor and double doctorate holder Thomas Olbricht. Exhibits from the art collection of Thomas Olbricht or other international art collectors were shown in the me Collectors Room. In the so-called Wunderkammer (chamber of curiosities), around 200 exhibits from the Renaissance and Baroque periods were permanently on display.
me Collectors Room Berlin was located in Auguststraße in Berlin-Mitte. In the me Collectors Room there was a nice café and, as part of the café, a small bookstore where one could get interesting and inspiring books and magazines on contemporary art.
