UPDATE 2019: The gallery was located in Potsdamer Straße in Berlin-Tiergarten, but in mid-2019 this space will be transformed into a presentation space for the publisher’s publications and Book Talks events. The gallery will be continued in the sense of a pop-up gallery until new spaces are found in Berlin.
KEHRER Galerie / Berlin represents German and international artists who are of prime importance for the present state of the photographic. The program thus presents the many various aspects of the medium, its different genres and facets of photography’s history. In this respect, the gallery shows also positions which reflect the impact of the medium on society, its functions and structures, including the aspect of „photography on photography“.
