Great, strong, erotic women are the theme of ELVIRA BACH’s life. They are women who – like herself – go their way self-confidently, sometimes provocatively. ELVIRA BACH’s casual, sweeping brushstrokes and gestural figuration as an expression of sensuality and beauty have become her trademark.
ELVIRA BACH had her artistic breakthrough as early as 1982 at documenta 7. In the 1980s, she was celebrated as a female Junge Wilde. Today, her works are represented in renowned museums and prestigious private and public collections worldwide. And with each work, you – dear art lover – take the esprit of this artistic personality home with you.
