After the great success in recent years, the fifth joint summer festival of the Bröhan Museum with the Rathgen-Forschungslabor (Research Laboratory) and the Museum Berggruen of the National Museums in Berlin will take place on Thursday, 18 July 2019 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Admission is free.
In the common ensemble of buildings directly at Charlottenburg Palace, visitors can expect a varied programme of exhibitions and events (see below).
At the Bröhan Museum the exhibition “Reaching Out for the Future. Future fantasies around 1900” is opened. Fascinated by mechanization and inspired by literary visions of the future, cartoonists of the time created imaginative images of the future. Visitors* inside the mobile Future Laboratory can print sustainable jute bags and put their ideas for the future on paper. There will also be guided tours through the special exhibition “Scandal!
