During the summer holidays, the Neue Nationalgalerie becomes a lively creative space for all generations. Over a period of six weeks, the museum is offering a varied programme for children, young people, families and adults to discover the current exhibitions – from Lygia Clark to Yoko Ono – together and get creatively involved. Whether open formats, workshops lasting several days or spontaneous drop-in activities: The programme creates encounters across age and experience boundaries. Interactive movement spaces and experimental worlds of colour open up varied approaches to art and invite people to share their dreams, perspectives and community.

How do geometric constructions get moving? How does art stimulate our senses? How do we become part of a work of art or even a shared body?
