Sexauer Gallery

SEXAUER was founded in October 2013 by Jan-Philipp Sexauer. Apart from solo shows of young international artists the gallery also presented strictly curated group shows in which works of young artists were confronted with established positions such as Roman Signer, Franz Erhard Walther or Alicja Kwade.

SEXAUER mainly shows young, emerging, international positions in different media such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, and installation. The shows are documented in catalogues and films. Since the large exhibition hall (15 x 15 x 5 meters) can be overseen from any standpoint, SEXAUER attaches great value to a stringent hanging or a consistent exhibition layout which illustrates the references between the different works.

It is located on Streustraße Berlin-Weissensee.
