Luisa Catucci Contemporary

Luisa Catucci Contemporary

The Luisa Catucci Contemporary is a contemporary art gallery in Berlin founded in 2017 by the Italian curator Luisa Catucci. It emerged as the evolution of the art platform Cell63, established in 2009 to support emerging international artists. From the beginning, the gallery has focused on presenting contemporary art through curated exhibitions that address ecological, social, and existential issues, working across a variety of media including painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installation. Over the years, the gallery has developed an active presence within the international art scene, combining exhibitions with cultural events and collaborations with institutions, art fairs, and artists from different generations and cultural backgrounds. After fifteen years in the Berlin district of Neukölln, the gallery moved in 2024 to a new space on Brunnenstraße in Mitte, expanding its exhibition program and professional activities. In the spring of 2026, Luisa Catucci Gallery changed its name to Luisa Catucci Contemporary, marking an evolution toward an expanded platform based on exhibitions, long-term artistic relationships, and collective exchange within contemporary art.

Based in Berlin, in the newly trend neighbourhood of Schillerkiez Neukölln, just a few meters away from the unique park of Tempelhofer Feld, and since 2024 also in Brunnenstraße in Berlin-Mitte, Luisa Catucci Contemporary, is more than just  a conventional art gallery; it places itself as one of the fundamental elements of the area’s cultural turmoil. The gallery’s program focuses mainly on art exhibitions, inspired by ecological, social and existential matters, through a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, video art and installations.

Beside the exhibitions, Luisa Catucci Contemporary organises regularly multidimensional events, in order to bind art with talks, culture and enjoyment, supporting the vibrant spirit of the town and the area. At Luisa Catucci Gallery we work permanently in contact with the artists represented, not only to develop the gallery’s exhibitions and international art fairs, but also to accompany  in their professional career, outside the gallery’s walls. Several of our artists have already  exhibited at museums and public institutions worldwide, or took part in prestigious exhibitions, such as Manifesta or Venice’s Biennale.

Luisa Catucci Contemporary is located in the Brunnenstraße 170 in Berlin-Mitte and in the Allerstraße 38 in Berlin-Neukölln.
