Der Eröffnung des Internationalen Literaturfestivals Berlin geht traditionell die Veranstaltung „berlin liest” an verschiedenen Orten der Hauptstadt voraus. In diesem Jahr stellt auch „Die Möwe” ihre Galerieräume den Lesenden zur Verfügung. Mehr als zehn Teilnehmer:innen werden am Mittwoch, dem 8. September, in lockerer Reihenfolge von 14:00 bis 17:00 Uhr eigene oder fremde Prosatexte und Gedichte vortragen. Organisatorin der Veranstaltung in der „Möwe” ist die Kunst- und Literaturagentin Sandra Höhne. Sie wird die Lesungen gemeinsam mit Caroline Schwarz moderieren. In der Salongalerie Die Möwe wird derzeit die Ausstellung KLASSISCH MODERN mit sowohl historischen als auch zeitgenössischen Werken von Künstlerinnen präsentiert.

The opening of the Berlin International Literature Festival is traditionally preceded by the „berlin reads“ event at various locations in the capital. This year, „Die Möwe“ is also making its gallery space available to the readers. On Wednesday, 8 September, more than ten participants will read their own or other people’s prose texts and poems in a loose sequence from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The organiser of the event in the „Möwe“ is the art and frahling Sandra Höhne. She will moderate the readings together with Caroline Schwarz. The Salon Galerie Die Möwe is currently presenting the exhibition KLASSISCH MODERN with both historical and contemporary works by female artists.
