Verena Kerfin and her team have been running BARK BERLIN GALLERY, located on Köthener Straße in Kreuzberg, since October 2017. Verena Kerfin found support not only from artists, but also from numerous curators of the diverse exhibition culture in Berlin. From the beginning, the goal was to represent a broad spectrum of art, with the intention of presenting an unusual vibrancy in the diversity of working methods and techniques as well as in the reputation of the artists. Well-known artists such as Matthias Dornfeld, Stefan Rinck and Via Lewandowsky were happy to exhibit in the gallery even as newcomers. Currently, the gallery’s orientation is changing to a broader work, oriented towards the international market, first art fairs are made and artists:inside from all over the world are invited to Berlin to create a meaningful synergy between the growing Berlin art and collector scene. The gallery sees its future opportunities in the international art market. Opening hours: Mon – Fri 12:00 am to 6:00 pm Until today, Bark Berlin Gallery has collaborated with: Alicja Kwade, Stefan Rinck, Matthias Dornfeld, Via Lewandowsky, Gregor Hildebrandt, Dennis Rudolph, Daniel Chluba, Ruprecht von Kaufmann, Philipp Kremer, Ondrej Drescher, Martin Dammann, Armin Boehm, Franziska […]

BARK BERLIN GALLERY
nüüd.berlin was initially founded in 2016 by Henner Merle as “fine art berlin project spaces”. The gallery represents painters, sculptors and photographers and organises exhibitions and supporting programmes. In addition to discovering and promoting talented newcomers, the gallery owner also wants to introduce established artists who have not yet exhibited in Berlin or Germany and make them known nationally as well as internationally. As director and co-founder of the former gallery ZFF – Zentrum für Fotografie in Berlin (1997/98) & co-curator of the exhibition for the successful book BERLIN WONDERLAND by Anke Fesel & Chris Keller (2014), he gained practical experience as a gallery owner and curator. After five years of numerous pop-up exhibitions at ever-changing locations, Henner Merle decided to take the next step and open a permanent space for art exhibitions in Berlin-Mitte in September 2021, despite the difficult pandemic year. With the permanent location and the planning security gained through this, exhibitions with the gallery’s artists and other artists will now be held regularly. In addition, it will now be possible to concretise and realise long-held plans – such as a cooperation with a New York gallery or a German-Indian project. nüüd.berlin gallery is intended to be […]

Located at Bäckerstraße 3, the LAB presents established and emerging artists with monthly changing exhibitions. The space is dedicated to presenting innovative group exhibitions that challenge the status quo of art in the Brandenburg region. Thumbs up for the great side. Finding the wide range of art that the mother city has to offer compactly on one clear page is very helpful :) Thanks for that!
Very good page. Greetings from Argentina!
