until 29.01. |#3289ARTatBerlin | Galerie Dittmar shows from 6th January 2022 the solo exhibition Tales of Lines by the artist Euna Gu. This is a new exhibition format that shows younger positions at intervals.

The paintings of the artist Euna Gu often have a musical reference. The six-part group Nature Fantasia 12, I-VI was musically transformed into an impression for piano by the Berlin-based pianist Hasun Choi. The piece accompanying these drawings can be heard in the exhibition.

Euna Gu was born in Chang Won, South Korea, in 1984. The artist lives and works in Berlin and Seoul.

2006 – 2008 Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Art Mainz.
2008 – 2011 Studied painting, with a focus on drawing at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee with a diploma and then master student with Hanns Schimansky.
2010 Special Price Winner of the 59th Keisei Calligraphy Exhibition of the Metropolitan Art Museum Tokyo.
2016 Participation (still under the name Kyoung Eun Gu) in the major survey exhibition on Korean art at the Ujong Museum of Art in Boseong, including significant Western positions that played an important role in contemporary Korean art.

International museum and gallery exhibitions in Germany, Japan, Austria, South Korea, the United States.

Exhibition dates: Thursday, January 6 through Saturday, January 29, 2022 – ATTENTION: extended until Friday, 4th February 2022
